The ins and outs of an engineering apprentice

It’s a mostly a pretty regular full-time work week but most times with a twist.

Monday: dreadfully wake at 5am (or aim to only to get out of bed 5:15) shower, do the lot, then out I go to catch the 6am bus (as pathetically unable to pass my driving test) fast forward to bus exchange at 7 then finally arrive at work 7:15. Pleasantries (that I roll my internal eyes at haha) work my butt off half the time but laugh most of the time ( I know it’s work but I just love to laugh and it does make the day go faster and seem endurable) then after a series of work and munching at lunch the clock hits 4 and then jump into to my lift that I am ever so thankful for and head home to arrive at 4:30. And that marks the end of the workday. Then my 4 hours relaxing time begins where I can opt for some reading, studying, knitting or straight 4-hour tv watching, which can sometimes lead to me forgetting dinner. And the day ends with me going to bed around 8:30 – 9pm

Tuesday: An exact replication of Monday, however a much slower day.

Wednesday: (college day) a much later morning as college begins at 9. However still dreadfully wake at 6:50 to leave the bed at 7, shower, get college bag sorted then thankfully lift from a friend at 8. Arrive at class 8:20. Sit on my lonesome and do some extra work or occasionally play on my phone. Then the guys arrive (the only girl in the class! What do you expect in an engineering class.) regular class day with lots and lots of breaks and lunch. Then around 3, we move on to the hand-skills (which I dread ever so much) then some more breaks and workshop work then off to catch the train at 6:30 and if I’m lucky home by 7:15

Thursday: another repeat of a Monday and Tuesday but with the repetitive ask of how college was.

Friday: the days of stories. Half day finish with the beginning of a Monday
