We live in a generation where first impressions could lead to happiness or endless despair (geez talk about being overdramatic).
This could vary from major to minor situations of importance. We could be meeting the person we want to date, we could be going for a job interview or we could just be speaking to a stranger on the street, in a shop, or even on our front doors. However our appearance on that occasion could either pave our way to success or cause the metaphorical door to be slammed in our face.
What we can say for certain is, we hope to not go to a job interview looking dirty and homeless. However how far do we go to looking presentable and suited for the position. Personally in my eyes, I feel a dash of makeup on the face completes the look for me. Not being a massive fan of makeup but still admiring the creativity involved in it, I view it as a means to an end. I do not enjoy the feel of it on my face. But i acknowledge the fact that it enhances my beauty, give the impression of a clear skin and generally portrays a more organised individual.
However others feels different. Those not interested makeup feel it has no effect on how the interviewer or the potential individual stood before you sees you. All your professional appearance depends on, is a clean odour and smart clothing items.
Then, there are those who are complete opposites, where in my opinion I believe makeup is overdone and over baked! . The lengths of the false lashes are not necessary ( slight jealousy of not being able to put one on), the over highlighting, overly contouring. I believe this looses professionalism.
Generally, what an individual deems a good appearance is subjective and unlike what ive stated above. They should not be judged but accepted.

I think that women overdo it quite often with all of the makeup and lashes. Some of those lashes are huge, and they look like those fly catcher things lol. A woman looks her best in her natural state in my opinion. A little lipstick, some earrings, and that hair done. Nice Read!

As long as you feel happy in what you’re doing, don’t worry what anyone else is doing!
That is so true. Happiness comes from within x
