Beautifully aware

I received some wonderful products from chemist last month and used them daily throughout the whole month to get the full effects.

Many of the products were focused on the face but some other few were hygiene (ish) related. From the month with daily use, I feel refreshed and they helped with the gorgeous summer we were blessed with this year.

Mudd sea mask

The first product I thoroughly enjoyed was the mud mask. I’ve never been much of a mask person as  I often get panicked when it dries up and face movements get restricted.

However I endured through this one and the results were beautiful, it left me with beautiful smooth skin. However, I would not say it did much skin clearing but then again my blackheads are on their own crazy level. It is not toxic and I’m almost certain it would help others with different skin issues.

Bic Razor

The other product I truly fell in love with was the razor. Honestly, I couldn’t believe that I could even have a favourite razor because they’ve all hurt me in the past and I’d been moving on to Nair and considering waxing, but this razor was the smoothest thing I’d ever experienced. i am not aware of the technical phrasing on how it was created, but i believe it was constructed with a smoothing moisturising area that followed the area that was trimmed. It was incredible and has restored my faith in shaving razors, it most definitely got me forcing everybody to touch my legs. i felt super happy and confident in my shorts and dresses!

Yardley perfumes

I also received two bottles of perfumes. one was good the other was not to my liking, however, i am one to share and my mother loved it, showing that everyone has different tastes. The term ‘good’ is a rather broad statement in this situation as it was good enough to use but it was not fantastic. It is safe to say it will not take up the position of my current perfume but then again i am not much of a perfume user. I much rather stick to my body spray.

Clearasil

Now clearasil, another product not widely used by me, as it was ‘stolen’ by my mother. She does make me laugh sometimes. Although the experience of this was not through me, I have noticed her face looking ever so slightly clearer so it must be doing something good for her. It comes in a cream form so i imagine you apply like a moisturiser directly to where a spot is present. this wouldn’t work with me as i rarely get live spots like i like to call them. My face is more blackheads that bright red painful spots.

Eyelure texture lashes and lash adhesive

My most looked forward to product were the false lashes. I am terrible with putting them on. And I also received a lash glue as well.

It was an absolute nightmare putting them on, they looked gorgeous but totally not me, I guess because I’m not used to having them on so the length looked odd. Then the cutting began, biggest mistake! I ruined them, and then proceeded to cry inside. I ruined these before lashes I was blessed with and I have no energy to buy more when I’m fully aware I will never wear them again (although for some reason I’m looking forward

to having them on my wedding day, if that ever happens)

I struggle greatly with blackheads and I am forever looking for a remedy. Sadly on this occasion, I did not find the cure. But it was great trying these products out.

T-zone skincare

My first time trying out Tzone products. First impressions were not amazing, however, the facial scrub has found a nice space on my night and morning face cleansing routine. Although improvements aren’t clear, I do like the feeling that my skin is clean. If it feels clean it must be clean! Now the nose pore strip was absolutely useless to me, and this is coming from someone whose face is completely covered in blackheads. It was fun to try and it was funny trying to get my face wet enough to get it on. Overall, I’m not certain that I will be making a repurchase but it was a nice enough product. I’ve never really understood nose pore strips because they’re designed for the nose but many use it elsewhere and so I tried that and unsurprisingly had no effect.

It was a lot of firsts for sure and it was fun and I’m so grateful for the products. So far have not found a solution to my terrible skin but the search is still on. Also, I try to believe this very much (mainly on myself) but we all beautiful in our own way and just because we don’t match up to society’s standard doesn’t mean we’re not as beautiful.

  1. Wonderful products! I prefer shaving so I should take a look into those razors. And I have been eyeing eyelure eyelashes for a long while! I am just horrible at putting on lashes so I avoid it! Great post, thanks for sharing!

    1. Yess these razors are everything! Even though I’m terrible at false lashes, these were easier to put on and they did look good.

      Thanks for reading.

  2. Howdy would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re working with?
I’m going to start my own blog soon but I’m having a hard
time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique.

P.S Sorry for being off-topic but I had to ask!
